Job description
Role Overview
Halfords seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team in Kingston Upon Hull. This role involves performing MOT tests compliant with DVSA standards and executing a variety of vehicle repair and maintenance services, from diagnostics through routine servicing, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Compensation and Working Pattern
- Potential earnings up to £41,800 annually, including base pay of £33,000 to £35,000
- Uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average extra income around £6,800 per year
- Work schedule: 5 days per week; the center remains closed on Sundays
- Possible earnings boost through a referral incentive scheme (terms apply)

Qualifications and Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent experience
- Possession of a valid MOT Testing Licence
- Holding a full driver’s licence with no more than 9 penalty points
