Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Vehicle Handler role involves thorough checks and the careful relocation of cars from Rosslare Port to storage areas and loading bays within the compound. Key duties include vehicle scanning, damage reporting using tablets, driving vehicles between locations, washing and dewaxing, valeting, and fueling, alongside stock controls like stock taking and stock protection. Handlers also support load lane operations, charge batteries, and undertake general maintenance tasks within the compound as required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting rate of €14.79 per hour in year one, increasing to €15.55 in year two
• Hourly pay rate of €25 for Sundays and Bank holidays

Requirements and Eligibility

• Availability to work seven days a week, covering assigned shifts as necessary
• Possession of a full valid driving license
• Positive work attitude and confidence in operating cars and light commercial vehicles
• Willingness to travel to other NVD locations, primarily Ringaskiddy site
