About the Role
Kids Unlimited Learning Academy and Miracle Kids Success Academy seek a responsible Van Rider who enjoys working with children and communicates well. This position is ideal for someone committed to supporting young children and becoming part of an organization focused on patient-centered care. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Organization Overview
MKSA and KULA are specialized early intervention centers providing day treatment for children with developmental delays or disabilities. Referred by primary care physicians, children undergo developmental screenings and therapy evaluations to access habilitation services addressing fine motor, sensory, speech-language, hearing, feeding, cognitive, and medical needs. Treatment rooms are staffed with teachers and assistants who respect cultural diversity. Licensed therapists and nurses are part of the team offering comprehensive care. Additional services include psychological, nutritional, and audiological assessments. Typically, children from birth to kindergarten age are treated, with summer programs extending to older children.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Experience
- No prior experience is required.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong and professional communication skills with diverse populations.
- Comfortable working with children from birth to six years and with families facing risks.
- Organizational aptitude with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency including use of databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet applications.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions, as well as to write simple correspondence.
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Good common sense to handle straightforward problems with concrete variables in routine situations.
