About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Valeter to join our Wolverhampton Motorstore. As part of the Arnold Clark team, you will be responsible for presenting vehicles in immaculate condition, ensuring they meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean both sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Use high-powered pressure washers to clean vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors with powerful equipment.
• Operate polishing and buffing machines to enhance the vehicle bodywork.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines when handling chemicals.
• Maintain and secure all equipment and machinery, reporting any faults and following manufacturer instructions and PPE requirements.
• Work efficiently within set timeframes and meet targets.
• Manage vehicle cleaning schedules using an online diary system.
• Keep daily records of completed work.
• Perform other duties to assist the branch as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Basic proficiency with computers.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Self-driven with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently.
• Open to training programs and skills development.

Previous valet experience is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates who show enthusiasm and meet the essential criteria will be trained. All new valet staff attend the Arnold Clark Valet Academy.

Work Schedule

Full-time hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and alternate Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
