Responsibilities

• Acquire skills in utility locating methods, safety procedures, and equipment operation
• Gain knowledge about regional utility infrastructure and compliance regulations
• Collaborate with experienced locators to identify and mark subterranean utilities
• Record findings using digital mapping technology
• Operate effectively in various weather conditions

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States for this employer
• Possess a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or applicable work history
• Hold a valid state driver’s license (no provisional licenses), with a clean Motor Vehicle Record

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

• Frequently work individually in remote areas, perform tasks requiring arm elevation above shoulder level, operate vehicles, execute fine motor skills, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 55 pounds, and use computer peripherals
• Occasionally climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and ascend stairs
