About Africa Global Logistics Rwanda Limited
Africa Global Logistics Rwanda Limited is a transport and logistics company officially registered in Rwanda, with offices located at Kigali Special Economic Zone, P.O. Box 1338, Kigali. The company specializes in providing comprehensive transport and logistics services across the region.
Main Responsibilities
- Gather, process, and organize compliance data from various Group entities to enable effective consolidation and analysis.
- Assist in revising and updating compliance dashboards and reporting tools utilized by the Compliance Department for decision support.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of compliance data submitted by Group members.
- Support the creation and frequent updates of training materials related to the Group's Compliance Program components.
- Participate in preparing annual compliance awareness and communication campaigns to enhance compliance culture.
- Conduct training sessions in both French and English targeted at employees, managers, and Compliance Delegates.
- Offer support to local Compliance Delegates to help implement consistent compliance awareness activities throughout the Group.
- Monitor training participation and campaign progress, taking follow-ups to meet training goals.
- Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up with Compliance Delegates, especially in countries lacking a regional compliance representative.
- Facilitate onboarding and continuous guidance for Compliance Delegates to aid in fulfilling their duties efficiently.
- Conduct quality assessments of deliverables and compliance reports generated by local entities.
- Assist in preparing communication materials for the Compliance Department, including campaigns related to African and International Anti-Corruption Days and other compliance initiatives.
- Coordinate the compilation and tracking of compliance-related activities across local entities.
- Contribute to updating, translating, and simplifying the Group's compliance policies, procedures, and reference documents to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Management team to draft Executive Summaries for operational leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 2-3 years of initial professional experience in fields such as Compliance, Internal Control, Audit, or Risk Management.
- Holds a degree in Law, Compliance, Audit, Internal Control, Risk Management, or an allied discipline.
- Exhibits excellent skills in drafting, writing, and analytical summarization.
- Demonstrates strong command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Comfortable with public speaking and conducting training sessions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in work approach.
- Fluent in both French and English languages, which are critical for the role.
- Additional language skills in Arabic, Swahili, or other African languages are considered a notable advantage.
