Role Overview
The Trading Manager will oversee daily operations related to shopfloor management, stockroom, pricing, merchandising, and product availability. This leadership role involves making sure that the right products are on offer at the right times and price points, while cultivating a motivated team that provides exceptional customer service.
Primary Duties
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer experiences.
- Drive sales growth and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
- Ensure outstanding merchandising standards and effective promotional execution.
- Manage accurate pricing and maintain stock availability to meet customer demand.
- Support recruitment, employee onboarding, and ongoing team development initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, productive, and welcoming work environment.
- Assist in general store operations, including opening, closing, and occasionally managing the store independently.
