Veezu is a rapidly expanding UK-based taxi and private hire technology business, operating throughout numerous towns and cities nationally. The company leverages technology to offer an on-demand mobility service that supports hyper-local communities and fosters their growth.
Role Overview
As a Trading Manager, you will harness data insights to define growth strategies across UK cities, contributing significantly to Veezu's expansion and market positioning. Reporting directly to the VP Marketplace, you will analyze operational KPIs, study competition, identify new opportunities, and drive the creation and implementation of innovative strategic plans to accelerate city-level growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analyses of locational performance to understand city dynamics and detect potential growth opportunities to enhance performance.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement trading strategies by leveraging market intelligence, collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Brand & Performance Marketing, Passenger & Driver Lifecycle, Driver Partner Experience, Data Science, and Legal.
- Track and evaluate key performance indicators to assess trading strategy effectiveness, regularly reporting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable feedback to internal teams to enhance service delivery for passengers and driver partners.
- Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders to inform decision-making.
- Manage and maintain accuracy in Veezu’s tariff systems, ensuring ongoing data integrity and rapid issue resolution.
- Serve as the expert on technical queries regarding tariffs and pricing configurations.
- Assist the Data Science team in developing, constructing, and testing pricing strategies and system functionalities.
- Commit to upholding ISO27001 standards by maintaining high information security compliance.

Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid position primarily based at your home location, with the expectation of attending the Cardiff headquarters or other sites at least one day monthly as needed.
