Role Overview
This full-time position reports to the Trade Operations Leader and involves overseeing the Trade Drive-thru and Yard areas. The role requires supervising the team and ensuring customers can efficiently access and purchase required materials and products with top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the operations of Trade Drive-thru and Yard areas.
- Coordinate and guide team members to fulfill customer needs effectively.
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to details in operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring customers receive the correct products in a timely manner.
- Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Previous leadership and people management experience.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Adaptability and quick thinking in dynamic situations.
- Polite and friendly demeanor when addressing customer demands.
- Team player with enthusiasm and a positive spirit.
- Basic computer and keyboard proficiency.
- Physical fitness capable of handling heavy lifting tasks.
- Familiarity with building materials is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A current full New Zealand driver’s license is essential.
- Possession of a forklift license (F Endorsement) is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.
Working Hours
Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
