Role Overview

This full-time position reports to the Trade Operations Leader and involves overseeing the Trade Drive-thru and Yard areas. The role requires supervising the team and ensuring customers can efficiently access and purchase required materials and products with top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations of Trade Drive-thru and Yard areas.
• Coordinate and guide team members to fulfill customer needs effectively.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to details in operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring customers receive the correct products in a timely manner.
• Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Previous leadership and people management experience.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Adaptability and quick thinking in dynamic situations.
• Polite and friendly demeanor when addressing customer demands.
• Team player with enthusiasm and a positive spirit.
• Basic computer and keyboard proficiency.
• Physical fitness capable of handling heavy lifting tasks.
• Familiarity with building materials is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A current full New Zealand driver’s license is essential.
• Possession of a forklift license (F Endorsement) is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.

Working Hours

Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Eligibility

Candidates must be New Zealand citizens, residents, or hold a valid open work visa for New Zealand that extends until at least mid-2027, and must reside in New Zealand.
