Role Overview
As a Tour Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning and executing exceptional tour experiences for both new and returning clients. You'll collaborate with the Tour Manager and lead a passionate team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure seamless tour operations. Leading tour groups on exciting journeys will be a core part of the role, contributing to repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and thoughtfully design engaging tours suited to client preferences.
- Work closely with the Tour Manager and lead the tour team to uphold high customer service standards and smooth experiences.
- Guide and oversee tour groups during their adventures, fostering memorable and repeat-worthy trips.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and experience in the tourism sector with prior roles similar to this one.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for New Zealand’s unique landscapes and history, to share authentically with customers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting kindness and enjoyment in meeting new people.
- Client-focused attitude, proficient with technology, responsible, and motivated to surpass expectations.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel and lead tours away from home bases.
