About The Role

Based in Masterton, New Zealand, Tranzit Tours offers guided travel experiences tailored primarily for the active senior demographic. We are well known for crafting smooth and memorable tours. This position entails leading our tours team by orchestrating end-to-end tour experiences that delight clients.

Our current tours team consists of three passionate members, and we seek an experienced team leader who will collaborate on innovative ideas and help expand our business reach.

Key Responsibilities

• Skillfully plan and arrange engaging tours for both new and returning clients.
• Collaborate closely with the Tour Manager and lead a dedicated and enjoyable team focused on delivering top-tier customer service and flawless client experiences.
• Guide tour groups on memorable adventures that encourage repeated participation.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience and enthusiasm in the tourism sector, ideally in a similar leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand's unique attractions and a passion for sharing this information.
• Warm, approachable manner with excellent communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with new people.
• Client-focused mindset, proficient with technology, responsible, and motivated to surpass expectations.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel and lead tours away from home.
