Role Overview
The Total Rewards Analyst plays an essential role supporting the Total Rewards team by leveraging advanced data analytics, AI-powered modeling, and digital tool development to inform compensation and benefits decisions. This position emphasizes designing automated solutions, fostering process efficiency, and applying a strong digital mindset along with innovative problem-solving capabilities. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders ensures effective Total Rewards practices aligning with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement sophisticated analytics, interactive dashboards, and AI/ML predictive models focusing on pay equity and attrition cost forecasting.
- Build and refine digital instruments, templates, self-service platforms, and automated workflows through robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence to boost Total Rewards operational effectiveness.
- Develop robust data architectures and governance standards to enable seamless data acquisition, integration, and analysis across human resource systems.
- Assist in evolving Total Rewards programs using AI-enhanced assessment of market data.
- Engage in the review of Total Rewards policies via digital compliance tracking tools to maintain alignment with legal and statutory standards.
- Lead initiatives aimed at digitizing workflows and applying automation within the Total Rewards domain to enhance processes.
- Contribute to organizational design projects including structural analyses and job evaluations using HAY methodology combined with advanced digital tools.
- Generate actionable, real-time analytical insights and self-service reporting dashboards to minimize manual reporting burdens.
- Offer data-driven counsel on salary adjustments, promotional criteria, and other Total Rewards operational cases consistent with company policies.
- Collaborate with HRIS/Employee Services teams to identify and implement system improvements and automation opportunities that synchronize with Total Rewards functions.
- Support integration efforts related to Total Rewards following mergers/acquisitions using data migration strategies.
- Oversee annual planning and market benchmarking employing AI-driven analysis to detect pay equity discrepancies.
- Manage salary survey activities on digital platforms to ensure availability of accurate and up-to-date market intelligence.
- Guarantee that Total Rewards policies adhere to legal mandates across various jurisdictions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities including complex formulas, tables, charts, lookups, macros (VBA), and data modeling techniques.
- Competence in data visualization applications such as Power BI and Tableau, coupled with foundational knowledge of SQL and data querying.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to integrate diverse data points.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or similar fields.
- Minimum of five years’ progressive experience in Rewards or HR roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS or HCM platforms like SAP SuccessFactors or Workday.
- Preferred but not mandatory: Professional certifications in Total Rewards such as CCP or GRP.
