About the Role and Company
Join BAE Systems at the Williamtown, NSW location and become part of a global network dedicated to pioneering advanced defence, aerospace, and security technologies. As a Toolstore Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing support equipment and tooling logistics to facilitate timely aircraft maintenance, contributing to safer operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and expedite the coordination of Support and Test Equipment (S&TE) throughout the site to support aircraft maintenance schedules efficiently.
- Administer the Tool Store and control tooling systems, ensuring maintenance and repair of Composite Tool Kits and Aircraft Tooling are conducted to standard.
- Collaborate with the Calibration Coordinator and the Support Equipment Team to manage servicing and calibration of S&TE.
- Manage distribution of tools and equipment to relevant agencies, maintaining strict tracking and accountability.
- Assist technicians in handling and dispensation of calibrated equipment while upholding site housekeeping and safety protocols.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in the defence sector or automotive field is advantageous.
- Strong self-management skills with the drive to deliver timely, quality, cost-effective outputs.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications and an aptitude for learning new systems such as Ultramain and ALIS.
- Possession of a trade qualification or forklift licence is highly desirable.
- Availability to work a standard 38-hour week, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 2:40 pm.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of managing stakeholder expectations and delivering on commitments consistently.
