Job Overview

The Thermal Insulation and Protective Materials Installer will be tasked with applying thermal insulation and protective layers to various building components such as walls, roofs, piping, and ducts. Daily responsibilities involve interpreting simple drawings or guidelines, measuring and shaping insulation materials accurately, preparing surfaces, and affixing insulation and protective coverings using suitable tools and work methods. The role also requires inspecting the finished work to verify full coverage, sealing of gaps, and adherence to safety and quality requirements. Close collaboration with supervisors and team members on construction sites, following health and safety procedures, and upkeep of tools and equipment are essential aspects of this position. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity located in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing thermal insulation and protective materials in construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to read basic plans or instructions and measure accurately for cutting and fitting materials.
• Knowledge about common insulation types, protective coatings, and their correct application.
• Familiar with the operation of hand and power tools for insulation installation, cutting, fastening, and finishing tasks.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices including proper material handling, working at heights, and use of personal protective equipment.
• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending, and working under diverse environmental conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, able to follow directions, and work cooperatively within a diverse team.
• Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or related trades within Doha or the Gulf area is considered advantageous.
• Basic communication skills in Arabic and/or English to coordinate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
