About the Role
Join Kraft Heinz and advance your sales career as a Territory Manager based in Southland/Central Otago, New Zealand. This permanent role offers a flexible working arrangement within a collaborative and dynamic team environment. Kraft Heinz is a global leader in food and beverage, managing over 200 brands with global sales nearing $25 billion, including condiments, dairy, meals, beverages, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Use data insights to analyze performance drivers and identify growth opportunities across your territory, crafting and implementing store and territory plans to boost results.
- Engage with buyers, owners, managers, and store teams to build strong, productive relationships, adapting communication to meet their preferences and needs.
- Confidently present recommendations and apply persuasive selling techniques to secure product distribution, ranging, and merchandising placements.
- Ensure execution of merchandising standards adheres to Kraft Heinz guidelines, keeping products well-stocked, highly visible, and shelves organized according to planograms.
- Efficiently manage schedules, priorities, and tasks across multiple store locations, maintaining a positive approach and seeking continual learning and improvement.
- Maintain compliance with Kraft Heinz's policies on food safety, environmental standards, health, safety, ethics, and human resources.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in interpreting sales data and translating insights into effective sales presentations.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively under pressure, managing deadlines efficiently.
- Exceptionally organized with strong commercial awareness.
- Valid driver's license with willingness to travel throughout the territory on typical 4-5 working days per week.
- Previous sales experience in the FMCG sector with a successful track record, including experience selling to key international or local retailers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable interpreting basic data outputs.
- Applies foundational sales techniques, supported by guidance from the Regional Field Sales Manager.
- Demonstrated retail execution skills, including identifying sales opportunities, understanding store data, and clear communication of actionable recommendations.
- Excellent relationship building and communication abilities, utilizing active listening and adaptive questioning to collaborate and solve issues with stakeholders.
- Strong personal effectiveness, managing multiple priorities with initiative, resilience, curiosity, and commitment to growth.
