Role Summary

The Termite Technician is responsible for delivering termite treatment services following company standards to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose termite issues by identifying termite behavior and infestation signs to decide on corrective actions
• Explain to customers the conditions that favor termite activity, discuss treatment procedures, and recommend structural changes to supplement the treatment
• Access various structural areas including crawl spaces, rooftops, stairs, and ladders
• Utilize inspection tools, application devices, hand tools, and power hammer drills proficiently
• Adapt to diverse environmental settings such as seasonal weather variations, damp or dusty areas
• Maintain personal equipment and company vehicle in clean and operational condition

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of customer service experience; prior termite control work is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with a strong eagerness to learn
• Flexible in work schedule including Monday to Friday and Saturdays when necessary
• Capability to secure and retain licensing or certification as mandated by federal, state, and local laws
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence

Compensation

The position offers an hourly wage ranging between $17.00 and $21.00.

Additional Information

This role requires working at customer locations which may include homes and businesses, often unsupervised and possibly involving access to sensitive personal and company information, financial details, and regulated chemicals that must be handled responsibly. Employees must be capable of peacefully resolving conflicts and must operate company vehicles safely on public roads.
