Telecaller

Overview

The telecaller acts as the primary point of contact for customers, promoting services, generating leads, and delivering support via telephone. This role requires clear communication, patience, and sales acumen to represent the company effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to potential customers and handle incoming calls from current clients.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to encourage sales and meet set targets.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide satisfactory solutions.
• Maintain and update customer and call information accurately in databases or CRM tools.
• Follow company scripts to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication with a confident and courteous demeanor.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and internet navigation.
• Good interpersonal skills to establish rapport, persuade customers, and manage objections.
• Experience in telecalling or customer service is advantageous but freshers are welcome to apply.
• Education typically includes a high school diploma or equivalent; candidates with higher degrees may also be considered.

Work Environment and Conditions

• Common industries include banking, real estate, insurance, and e-commerce.
• Performance is usually evaluated based on call volume, leads generated, and sales converted.
• Work typically involves sitting for extended periods and using headsets, often in a fixed day shift schedule.
