Role Overview

The Technician will handle various operational and maintenance responsibilities for amusement and arcade equipment, including regular inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs. Adherence to company standards and strict safety protocols is crucial in this role, which supports the smooth, safe, and dependable function of entertainment assets at Majid Al Futtaim locations.

Key Duties

• Perform daily checks on arcade games, amusement rides, and facility systems ensuring their optimal condition and safety compliance.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on both mechanical and electrical components to reduce downtime and enhance asset longevity.
• Diagnose technical issues promptly and conduct necessary corrective or emergency repairs on entertainment equipment and support infrastructure.
• Comply rigorously with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all maintenance activities.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance operations, spare parts consumption, and repairs conducted.
• Respond swiftly to technical faults during operational hours to minimize guest inconvenience.
• Work collaboratively with operations and guest services teams to maximize equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute ideas towards process and system improvements in technical maintenance and operations.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Have 2 to 5 years of practical experience in maintenance and operations, ideally within the leisure or family entertainment industry.
• Familiar with arcade machines, amusement rides, simulators, VR equipment, or similar electro-mechanical systems.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting capabilities and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Understand and apply safety standards and regulatory compliance measures.
• Be willing and available to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, and record-keeping skills.
