Technical Sales Lead - OT Cybersecurity

About the Role

Join ABB to enable industries to operate more efficiently and sustainably by leading the technical advancement and delivery of ABB's OT Cybersecurity solutions throughout the IMEA region. You will serve as the main technical expert for cybersecurity initiatives, collaborating closely with sales teams, local divisions, operational project centers, and global product groups. Your responsibilities will encompass driving the commercialization and pipeline development of a cybersecurity portfolio worth multiple millions of USD annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IMEA technical authority on ABB's OT Cybersecurity solutions.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the cybersecurity software product roadmap by recommending new features and variations.
• Provide comprehensive technical sales support, capturing customer needs, demonstrating solutions, and articulating value propositions effectively.
• Manage all phases across the customer journey including opportunity identification, value engineering, solution design, pilot coordination, deployment, and ongoing support post-implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement in digital solutions and processes ensuring prompt fulfillment of client requirements.
• Develop and qualify opportunity pipelines within energy, water, utilities, oil & gas, mining, and process industries sectors.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient with IEC 62443 standards and knowledgeable about the cybersecurity market.
• Possess 8 to 12 years of experience in industrial automation cybersecurity, OT cybersecurity, digital solutions, or related fields.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or another related domain.
• Have strong expertise in industrial control systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and overall OT environments.
• Experienced in supporting business development activities across multiple countries or regions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement capabilities.
• Ability to navigate multicultural environments and engage effectively across diverse IMEA markets.
• Possess a valid UAE driving license.
