Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager for People Intelligence Applications will be pivotal in advancing Taxfix’s agentic enablement platform within the People Strategy & Insights team. This role involves end-to-end ownership of developing and delivering internal People applications that support hiring, development, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational design, integrating AI where possible. You will collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders such as People Partners, Leadership, Finance, IT, and Engineering to transform complex People-related challenges into scalable, elegant solutions contributing to the company’s AI-native vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the "Builder" employee concept and capture organizational requirements to empower Engineers and non-Engineers in deploying agentic workflows.
  • Design and experiment with AI-augmented tools and collaborative human-AI interactions to innovate within People operations.
  • Develop, iterate, and refine People applications utilizing no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Claude Code, Notion, n8n, Google Cloud Apps) and other AI technologies, handling the complete product lifecycle from conception through optimization.
  • Drive the adoption of a Product mindset and methodologies across the People function, continuously evolving the People Products Roadmap.
  • Convert stakeholder requirements into a prioritized roadmap balancing immediate operational needs, strategic goals, and decision frameworks between building in-house or buying solutions.
  • Create and maintain integrations among various People technology tools such as HiBob, Ashby, Peakon, Postgres ensuring robust data integrity, streamlined automation through n8n, and smooth data exchange.
  • Lead change management initiatives, including developing documentation, educational content, training sessions, and gathering feedback to enhance new applications and features.
  • Work cross-functionally with PSI leadership, People Partners, Workforce Planners, Finance & Planning, IT, and Engineering ensuring compliance with IT security and privacy requirements.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical product management or a similar role, with proven ability in independently developing and launching internal software tools.
  • Proficient hands-on experience with AI technologies such as Claude, GPT, or Google AI Studio and adept in crafting effective human-AI collaborative designs.
  • Curious and pragmatic in approach, willing to challenge established practices constructively.
  • Systems thinker with a solid grasp of economic implications of internal processes and how internal products contribute value.
  • Comfortable with technical skills like working with APIs, webhooks, SQL, and managing integrations across systems, knowing when to engage engineering teams or build solutions independently.
  • Strong product management capabilities: roadmap development, prioritization, agile delivery, and maintaining user-centric perspectives in dynamic settings.
  • Experienced with no-code/low-code tools such as Notion, n8n, AppSheet, and Google Cloud Apps, skilled in designing complex data models for business logic and analytics.
  • Experience in People/HR technology, workforce planning, or organizational design is advantageous, as is experience in rapidly growing startups or scale-ups accustomed to ambiguity.
