Role Overview
The position of Technical Accountant Executive is a full-time, on-premise role situated in Riyadh. The incumbent will be responsible for managing technical accounting activities including the preparation, review, and reconciliation of accounts involving premiums, claims, commissions, and reinsurance settlements. This role focuses on generating precise financial statements and technical reports, ensuring adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory obligations. Daily duties include analyzing financial information, supporting monthly and annual closing processes, and resolving any accounting discrepancies. The role also involves contributing to process improvements and coordinating audit documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements such as balance sheets, income reports, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and client accounts accurately and timely.
- Support the deployment and upkeep of accounting software and related systems.
- Conduct follow-ups with external stakeholders to ensure timely premium collections.
- Guarantee compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on their queries and requests.
- Monitor the progress of claim settlements consistently.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, competency, and customer satisfaction within the team.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of VAT transactions to support reporting and audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Position open to Saudi nationals exclusively.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and excellent communication skills.
- Fluent proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Minimum of one year of experience in public accounting or a comparable field.
- Capability to perform efficiently and effectively within a virtual working environment.
