Technical Accountant Asset Management

Job Responsibilities

• Take ownership for IFRS 9-compliant accounting and reporting of capital investments for HDI Group's international subsidiaries, ensuring high quality, transparency, and timely delivery of results.
• Monitor ongoing transactions and handle complex investment data using core systems such as SimCorp Dimension, SAP BW, and Tagetik, with a focus on data accuracy, clarity, and efficient closing processes.
• Review and analyze bookings, data flows, and discrepancies to identify quality improvement opportunities, initiate process enhancements, and sustainably raise data quality standards.
• Participate in professional and system-driven change initiatives, including mandate migrations, introduction of new accounting requirements and product processes, as well as AI-powered advancements to evolve investment accounting workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Completed academic degree, preferably in economics, accounting, business informatics, or related field; equivalent qualifications like certified accountant are also accepted.
• Strong motivation to learn new subject areas and master system environments, along with an interest in financial instruments, technical applications, and data-centric processes.
• Previous experience in investment accounting, finance, or auditing along with knowledge of IFRS 9 standards and financial instruments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within motivated teams and with team leads.
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English.
