Job description
About the Role
We seek a knowledgeable Trainer to enhance global collection operations by crafting, delivering, and continuously refining training initiatives for projects such as Drive, Pedestrian, Athena, Cabrillo, Fulfillment, and Marathon.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer programs targeting Regional Trainers and vendors.
- Lead both in-person and virtual training sessions, refreshers, and onboarding.
- Evaluate training quality, knowledge verification outcomes, and trainers' performance.
- Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, assessments, and training timetables.
- Support pilot launches, geographic expansions, and ensure operational readiness.
- Audit training content for compliance with operational guidelines.
- Perform field testing and confirm the functionality of GIS hardware and software.
- Work closely with operations teams, technical writers, and global stakeholders.
- Travel internationally to assist with training delivery, equipment installations, and regional inauguration events.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be located in Singapore with legal work authorization.
- Minimum one year experience in Drive or Pedestrian data collection.
- At least one year experience in delivering training and leading teams.
- Background in collection system installation and managing regional ramp-up phases.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to engage various stakeholders.
- Possession of a valid passport and readiness for frequent international travel.
- Capability to instruct diverse, multicultural audiences, especially non-native English speakers.
Relevant Skills and Preferred Qualifications
- Strong expertise in field operations, technical training, SOP/documentation proficiency, leadership, and deployment experience.
- Candidates from GIS, mobile mapping, surveying, telecommunications, or technical field services backgrounds are highly suitable.
- Candidates demonstrating transferable skills and high willingness to travel extensively will be considered regardless of formal T4 title.
- Preferred candidates have experience in learning & development, Train-the-Trainer models, creating SOPs/manuals/assessments, and familiarity with workforce management or training tracking tools.
- Experience with pilot program support, process enhancement, and field equipment validation is advantageous.
