Job description
Position Overview
The role involves analysing, designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Human Resources (HR) applications. The System Analyst will collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements and create effective technology solutions tailored to organizational needs.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering disciplines.
- A minimum of five years working experience in system analysis, application design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Expertise in eliciting user requirements and converting them into detailed functional and application design specifications.
- Hands-on skills with SAP HANA platform and database design methodologies.
- Proficient in SAP HR-specific programming and application development.
- Experience using SAPUI5 and JavaScript for developing SAP applications.
- Competency in creating and consuming SAP OData Services.
- Practical experience in SAP SuccessFactors modules, especially Employee Central and Employee Central Time Off.
- Knowledge in additional SuccessFactors modules like Performance & Goal Management, Compensation, Succession & Development, Learning, Mobile interfaces, and Story Reporting.
- Expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) capabilities including Integration Suite and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
Preferred Skills
- Additional familiarity with SAPUI5, OData, and SAP BTP technologies is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business and user requirements, translating them into comprehensive functional specifications for SAP HR systems.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support SAP HR applications with an emphasis on reliability and usability.
- Maintain and optimize databases on SAP HANA; use SAPUI5, JavaScript, and OData services for application development.
- Provide ongoing support and development for SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Time Off, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Succession & Development, Story Reports, and Learning.
- Develop integrated solutions leveraging SAP BTP including the Integration Suite, CAP model, and Credential & Access Management services.
- Collaborate effectively with users and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and deliver practical solutions, demonstrating strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
