Job Overview

We seek a meticulous and analytical Survey Engineer to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves performing precise land and construction surveys, gathering accurate field measurements, and producing detailed survey reports. Collaboration with project teams is critical to ensure all survey activities comply with standards and project goals. Candidates should possess excellent organizational capabilities and strong technical skills, with a firm dedication to accuracy in all surveying activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute field surveys utilizing advanced equipment including total stations, GPS units, theodolites, and laser levels.
• Process and interpret survey data to generate accurate maps and technical drawings.
• Develop comprehensive survey documentation adhering to industry standards and local regulations.
• Use CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to draft and revise survey plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction personnel to determine survey criteria.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of survey measurements to guarantee precision.
• Maintain systematic records of data, notes, and documentation related to surveys.
• Identify and resolve potential challenges to meet project deadlines effectively.
• Assist in equipment setup and calibration.
• Present survey results and insights to relevant project stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven background in land or construction surveying or equivalent fields.
• Competence in operating surveying tools including total stations, GPS, theodolites, and laser levels.
• Skilled in CAD platforms, especially AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Ability to accurately collect and analyze survey data.
• Understanding of surveying standards, best practices, and protocols.
• Strong technical writing and report compilation skillset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Keen analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Capable of working effectively in field environments and adhering to timelines.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction standards and regulations is preferred.
• Experience with GIS software is a plus.
• Knowledge of drone (UAV) surveying technologies is beneficial.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
