Join a newly established Supported Living service in Hailsham dedicated to assisting adults with learning disabilities. We are seeking three committed Support Workers to enrich our team. Your role will focus on enabling individuals to achieve their potential, fostering independence, and supporting them to live fulfilling lives. The work is dynamic, with daily variations in tasks.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Individuals who demonstrate respectful, compassionate, and sensitive person-centered care in all interactions with service users.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, exercising good judgment about when to seek advice.
  • Capacity to meet the travel demands related to the position.

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK as this role does not provide visa sponsorship.

Work Hours and Shifts

The service operates 24/7, and the role offers flexible hours ranging from 15 to 37 hours per week. Shifts will vary between early and late times, generally between 7:30 AM and 10:00 PM, with alternate weekend duties.

Training and Development

We are committed to your growth and provide comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and supervision to support both your personal and professional development. Vocational training opportunities through apprenticeships are available, offering pathways from entry-level to degree-level qualifications.

Additional Benefits and Information

  • Extensive employee benefits to support your well-being throughout employment.
  • Participation in the ESCC Refer a Friend scheme, offering incentive payments for referrals.

Successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, including checks for regulated activities, and may be required to provide overseas police clearance if applicable.

Interviews will be conducted in person at the CSS office, Linden Court, Eastbourne, starting the week of 5 October 2026.
