About the Role
Join First Focus, a leading Managed Service Provider spanning Australia and New Zealand, known for its strong culture of curiosity, teamwork, and support. We recently expanded to New Zealand and are eager to grow our team with skilled technicians devoted to making a meaningful impact on Kiwi businesses. This position offers a dynamic work environment with hybrid remote and onsite responsibilities, working across diverse technologies and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve support tickets involving Microsoft Active Directory (both Azure and on-premises), Microsoft 365, and Exchange environments.
- Troubleshoot issues across desktops, servers, firewalls, and network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN.
- Provide support for cloud platforms such as Azure AD, Entra, Hyper-V, Citrix, and AWS (note: VMware is not used).
- Participate in project deployments and assist senior engineers in maintaining clean and efficient environments.
- Balance time between desk-based remote support and client site visits; travel expenses including fuel, tolls, and parking are reimbursed.
Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in Active Directory, predominantly Azure AD, with experience in on-premises AD as well.
- Competency in Windows Server, Exchange, and various cloud platforms.
- Comfortable across the full technology stack, from desktops to firewalls and network layers.
- Experienced with ticketing systems and committed to providing attentive and empathetic end-user support.
- Effective communication skills, proactive problem-solving ability, and a positive attitude.
- Possession of a valid New Zealand driver's license or eligibility to drive in New Zealand, along with access to a personal vehicle necessary for onsite visits.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range between NZD 65,000 and 75,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience, plus KiwiSaver contributions.
