Job Summary

As a Storeroom Attendant, you are responsible for handling the receipt, storage, and inventory control of supplies and food items while ensuring cleanliness and organization within the storage areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels of food and supplies to support efficient food service operations.
• Properly store all items in designated containers and storage zones to prevent spoilage.
• Keep records and logs tracking storage temperatures of perishables according to standards.
• Label, date, and rotate stock using FIFO principles to ensure older items are used first.
• Place orders based on product specifications following company ordering procedures.
• Secure sensitive areas containing potential theft risks, hazardous chemicals, supplies, and equipment to maintain safety.
• Transport supplies safely in appropriate containers or vehicles as required.
• Adhere to HACCP protocols during receipt and distribution to guarantee food safety.
• Report equipment issues to the proper personnel for maintenance or repair.
• Complete required reports—daily, weekly, or monthly—accurately and punctually.
• Use cleaning agents as instructed by manufacturer guidelines and MSDS sheets; operate equipment adhering to safety procedures.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Working Hours and Location

This is a full-time role based at East Georgia Regional - Fair Road, Statesboro, GA 30458. Although the schedule varies, open availability is preferred. Applications are accepted online only.

Compensation

The role pays a fixed rate of $12.00 per hour.
