Our Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission project, a collaboration including ACCIONA, COBRA, and Endeavour Energy, aims to build transmission infrastructure to deliver 4.5 gigawatts of network capacity starting from 2028. This will connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar energy, enough to power over 2 million homes annually.

Role Overview

We are searching for an experienced Storeperson to join our expanding project team within the logistics and warehouse function. The role involves managing the receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials, equipment, and inventory crucial to construction activities for the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately log all incoming materials, equipment, and deliveries.
• Maintain precise inventory records, ensuring all material movements are updated within warehouse management systems.
• Organize storage, identification, tracking, and distribution of project materials.
• Prepare and issue materials and equipment to construction teams as needed.
• Perform regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and reconcile inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or damage related to inventory.
• Ensure materials are stored securely and safely according to project standards.
• Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, delivery documents, stock transactions, and material issuance.
• Collaborate with procurement, construction, logistics, and project teams to guarantee material availability.
• Assist in coordinating delivery schedules and movement of materials to and from the site.
• Keep the warehouse and storage area clean, organized, and safe.
• Comply with safety, environmental, and quality policies in all warehouse and logistics operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Storeperson, Warehouse Officer, or Logistics Officer, preferably in construction, infrastructure, mining, utilities, or major projects.
• Strong knowledge of materials management and inventory control principles.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of stock control, materials tracking, receipting, and issuing procedures.
• Experience conducting stocktakes, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
• Meticulous attention to detail for maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Capability to organize and track a diverse range of construction materials and equipment.
• Effective communication and organizational skills for collaborating across multiple project teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic project environment.
• Valid Construction White Card and Driver's Licence required.
• Prior experience on large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects will be advantageous.
• Availability to work on a remote project site on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster.

Additional Information

This position operates remotely on a rotating 14/7 roster. Bus transportation is provided only from Sydney with various pick-up and drop-off stops between Sydney and Mudgee. Candidates residing elsewhere in NSW must manage their own Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) arrangements at their own cost. Applicants from outside NSW will be required to arrange and finance their travel to Sydney or the site if successful. This is not a FIFO position.
