Role Overview
As a Store Merchandiser, you will play a crucial part in enhancing product presentation and maintaining compliance with visual merchandising standards. Your technical expertise will be honed through ongoing training and exciting challenges in a dynamic setting, contributing directly to an outstanding customer experience and maintaining a well-organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Construct and take down displays based on seasonal promotions, incoming merchandise, and inventory levels
- Verify that merchandise on displays matches planograms and adheres to company visual standards
- Manage inventory above the bay by shelving items, ensuring price tags are correctly placed, and positioning products forward as necessary
- Welcome customers courteously and direct them to in-store staff for specialized assistance
- Maintain store cleanliness and accessibility to facilitate smooth customer movement through aisles
- Perform additional duties to ensure efficient store operations
Qualifications and Requirements
- Familiarity with basic tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws is preferred
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Capability to safely move heavy items using proper equipment
- Forklift operating experience considered a plus
- Proficiency in using web-based computer applications for task completion
- Competence in basic arithmetic operations, including addition and subtraction
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
