About the Role
Join Panda Express as a Store Manager and lead a single restaurant location, overseeing all operational aspects. The position involves hiring, directing, and managing associates to meet financial targets while ensuring outstanding guest experiences. To prepare you for success, Panda offers an extensive store leadership training program lasting 8 or more weeks, complete with mentorship and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
As a Store Manager, you'll be accountable for running the day-to-day store operations, managing associate performance, and driving financial results through effective leadership.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Flexibility to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius if necessary.
- Availability to work varying schedules, including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business demands.
- Food Safety certification (Serve Safe) is required.
Working Environment and Physical Requirements
The role requires standing for extended periods, handling hot and cold food preparation, working in hot, fast-paced, and noisy kitchen conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, reach across counters, and manage kitchen tools including Chinese cook knives is necessary. Strong verbal communication skills and adaptability to a dynamic environment with frequent priority shifts are essential. The candidate must also be capable of managing challenging situations and conflicts professionally.
