Job description
Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing daily store operations, ensuring visual merchandising standards, leading performance management, handling recruitment and staff training, scheduling work shifts, and maintaining inventory control. They ensure strict compliance with the company’s guidelines and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all store operations, ensuring full adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve targeted performance levels.
- Participate in visual merchandising, stocking shelves, and handling daily shipment unpacking and packing.
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage complex issue resolution.
- Implement and uphold visual display standards throughout the store.
- Maintain store safety and cleanliness at all times.
- Handle cash management and manage store opening and closing procedures when necessary.
- Provide performance feedback and delegate tasks effectively among staff.
- Perform managerial duties such as supervising breaks and attendance.
- Take responsibility for hiring and evaluating employee performance.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of retail experience.
- Minimum of two years managing teams.
- High availability including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and sound decision-making ability.
- Proven leadership capabilities and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
