About the Role

As an integral part of the Store Management Team, the Stocking 1 & 2 Coach at Walmart Canada drives profitable sales by achieving sales and profit targets, managing budgets, and forecasting sales specifically for the Food and Consumables departments. This role is focused on leading and developing hourly associates to provide exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient execution of store processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales and financial reports, monitor economic trends, and assess community needs to respond to market changes effectively while managing costs. Communicate and interpret sales results to associates.
• Collaborate with management to create operational plans; prioritize and assign tasks to Department Managers and Associates. Ensure optimal store conditions through merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and compliance with company policies. Implement and evaluate new store programs, especially related to stocking activities. Be cross-trained to competently support all store areas when required.
• Oversee asset protection and maintain safety measures, quality assurance, and compliance with company policies including Total Loss and security procedures. Conduct safety and operational reviews proactively.
• Represent the store as a customer service ambassador by greeting customers, collecting feedback, resolving complaints within company guidelines, and fostering a positive shopping experience. Lead associates to model and maintain friendly, helpful customer service.
• Support community engagement by participating in local events and building relationships with community groups. Contribute to company-sponsored programs and sustainability initiatives, reinforcing the store’s community integration.
• Conduct regular meetings with associates to communicate store operations and OMNI business initiatives. Promote employee engagement, recognize achievements, and encourage professional growth through training and development of associates and high-potential team members.
• Uphold company values through timely and respectful performance feedback, disciplinary actions, and managing relationships with supporting departments such as People and Total Loss within the store and market.
• Adhere strictly to company standards in handling all merchandise, including alcohol, ammunition, narcotics, and high-value items. Manage cash controls responsibly, handling up to $250,000 daily.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $56,100 to $66,643 annually, determined based on relevant experience.
