Key Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the Receiving Area, unload merchandise trailers including handling live unloading tasks.
• Handle merchandise with care, ensuring cold chain standards are maintained for refrigerated and frozen goods and moving pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Support sales floor stocking and assist customers to promote a positive shopping environment.
• Organize and label overstock merchandise appropriately to facilitate efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a hazard-free, clean workplace following company policies, including carrying out safety checks and securing displays and fixtures.
• Adapt to varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business requirements.

Challenges of the Position

• Work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment managing overnight hours and maintaining consistent performance.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as standing long periods, bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive stocking activities with attentiveness.
