Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Steel Fixers to contribute to a major infrastructure project at York Central. The role involves interpreting reinforcement drawings, cutting and bending steel, assembling reinforcement cages, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications prior to concrete pours.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and place steel reinforcement accurately.
• Assemble reinforcement cages according to project requirements.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout all tasks.
• Collaborate effectively within the project team for smooth civil engineering operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in steel fixing on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Possession of a valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
• Successful completion of a Safety Critical Medical assessment.
• Willingness to adhere to site safety protocols including drug and alcohol testing.
