The Staff Product Development Engineer position is within the high-end test engineering team focusing on Data Center Graphics (DCG) New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. You will develop advanced test solutions for state-of-the-art processors utilized in high-performance computing, data centers, servers, and AI clusters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and improvement of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) solutions to succeed in NPI milestones and achieve quality, cost, and test time KPIs.
- Create, debug, and optimize test patterns, test flows, and methodologies.
- Engage early with pre-silicon design teams to plan and validate test strategies.
- Support post-silicon bring-up by optimizing test patterns for mass manufacturing.
- Execute silicon characterization, debug new designs and manufacturing processes.
- Enhance test coverage and flows to improve product quality, yield, and reduce costs.
- Conduct engineering assessments to resolve production issues and lead process improvements.
- Solve complex, original challenges and initiate major process innovations.
- Influence critical technical decisions affecting final product quality.
- Provide leadership and mentorship for project teams and junior engineers.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Strong background in Design-For-Test (DFT) architecture for system-on-chip (SoC) products.
- Hands-on experience with industry ATE test platforms, preferably Advantest V93K; knowledge of SMT8 is advantageous.
- Proficient in software programming and scripting languages including C++, Java, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, and Python.
- Comfortable working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of power and performance characterization using ATE equipment.
- Experience with High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with globally distributed engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
Academic Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical disciplines.
