Role Overview

We are seeking a Sourcing Recruiter to build robust talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring demands. This role involves identifying and engaging high-caliber candidates through targeted sourcing tactics and market intelligence, collaborating closely with recruiters to deliver qualified talent while maintaining an organized and compliant sourcing workflow. The position is a 12-month fixed term and is open to applicants in Melbourne (preferred), Canberra, Adelaide, Sydney, or Brisbane. Candidates must be eligible to hold a Baseline AGSVA security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sourcing strategies targeting passive candidates using diverse platforms and tools.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, talent mapping, and competitive analysis to meet hiring priorities.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-compliant candidate pipelines within applicant tracking or CRM systems.
  • Provide recruiters with qualified candidate lists, including screening insights and alignment with roles.
  • Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics to refine strategies and assist in hiring forecasts.
  • Collaborate with recruiters, marketing, and program teams to enhance sourcing efforts and employer branding.
  • Contribute market insights on talent availability, geographical considerations, and compensation trends.
  • Identify and recommend improvements for sourcing processes, tools, and overall efficiency.
  • Support hiring events and other recruitment-related activities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven track record in talent sourcing or recruitment operations.
  • Practical knowledge of applicant tracking systems and talent CRM platforms for candidate management and reporting.
  • Experience executing sourcing campaigns using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and resume databases.
  • Desirable: Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • Preferred: Experience sourcing for security-cleared positions or within government contracting sectors.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks such as OFCCP, AAP, and EEO, with capability to maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Must be able to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
