Job Summary

Join Purolator Inc., Canada's leading integrated freight, package, and logistics provider, as a Sorter at the Calgary South Depot located at 6575 68 Ave SE. In this role, you will sort and separate freight according to destination, weight, size, and shape to ensure timely client deliveries. This position operates in a warehouse environment from Monday to Friday during the night shift of 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM, with a competitive wage of $23.40 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks and place it onto the conveyor system.
• Transfer freight from conveyor or chute for load-out purposes.
• Load freight into linehaul or cube trucks and trailers.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles efficiently.
• Manually handle bulk or non-conveyable freight items.
• Scan all shipped and received mail or packages to detect improperly sorted items as well as mail or packages marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• No specialized education or prior experience is required for this role.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory due to frequent communications with various stakeholders.
