About the Role
The Solution Architect role focuses on shaping and advancing the architecture of the Acterys application within Vena Solutions' expanding SaaS platform. This position is based at the Pune or Indore office and requires onsite presence five days a week. The individual will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and robust solutions while maintaining high standards of performance, security, reliability, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the solution architecture and roadmap for Acterys features within a cloud-based SaaS environment alongside Product Management and domain experts.
- Work in close partnership with Engineering teams to create balanced solution designs addressing functional utility as well as factors like scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Review engineering implementations for compliance with architectural standards and alignment with approved designs.
- Support delivery teams through the lifecycle by tackling complex technical problems and driving solution quality enhancements.
- Stay abreast of technology trends and architectural best practices to evolve solution patterns and improve delivery methodologies.
- Employ modern tools including AI-assisted research to enhance architectural decisions and continuous improvement processes.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date architecture documentation ensuring traceability and clarity for stakeholders.
- Communicate architectural decisions openly while mentoring engineering teams and facilitating knowledge sharing.
- Participate actively in architectural governance, contributing to standards, policies, and best practices formulation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on proof-of-concept projects to explore new capabilities supporting future feature development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in Solution Architecture and over 12 years in software development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure, with focused experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, OLTP, SQL reporting, and programming in TSQL and procedural SQL.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including Star Schema, dimensions, fact tables, and ETL processes.
- Expertise in Power BI stack, including familiarity with DAX, M language, and Power BI model construction.
- Experience with financial reporting systems including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements; familiarity with CPM, ERP, and cloud accounting tools like Xero and QuickBooks advantageous.
- Background in designing distributed architectures, microservices, and API integrations (REST, GraphQL).
- Experience in developing cloud-based SaaS software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration, communication, and influence across diverse teams.
- Knowledge of Angular and Typescript considered a plus.
- Interest and openness to leveraging AI-driven solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
Compensation
The position offers a salary range from Rs 3,825,000 to Rs 5,175,000 per year, with exact compensation influenced by work location, skill set, experience, and education. Ongoing career growth can lead to adjustments in pay over time.
