Solution Architect - IT Storage

Role Overview

We are representing a globally recognized technology company, Huawei, to recruit a Solution Architect specialized in IT Storage. This key position focuses on delivering technical expertise, designing solutions, and supporting pre-sales activities for enterprise clients and partners regarding storage and data management technologies. Collaboration with the sales team is essential to grasp customer needs, suggest customized solutions, and successfully conclude projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to gain insights into the Mid and Large Enterprise sectors in Singapore, identifying, cultivating, and finalizing project opportunities, while advising key accounts on infrastructure upgrades.
• Provide pre-sales assistance including design of Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Network Architectures, Bill-of-Materials configuration and pricing, tailoring technical proposals, alongside other pre-sales activities.
• Deliver presentations both individually and in seminars showcasing Huawei's solutions to prospective clients to generate new business prospects.
• Organize and conduct training programs on Huawei’s products and solutions for end users and channel partners quarterly.
• Manage tender processes by preparing responses, clarifications, and organizing submissions related to pre-sales portions.
• Promote the comprehensive portfolio of Huawei’s hardware and software solutions to enterprise and governmental customers, crafting and presenting formal business proposals.
• Recognize critical customer demands and work with Product & Solution teams to confirm feasibility and delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Technical Pre-Sales roles, familiar with industry tendencies, solutions, and important partner/ISV technologies.
• Demonstrate practical knowledge of Backup, Storage, Server technologies, and Disaster Recovery best practices and methods.
• Experienced in handling tender requests and responses.
• Exhibit strong consultative selling and business development abilities to align client business needs with appropriate solutions, understanding customer infrastructure and architecture.
• Capable of balancing strategic initiatives with tactical efforts to optimize market coverage and maintain steady revenue flows.
• Possess strong project management competencies.
• Effectively collaborate with partners to enhance revenue generation.
