Role Overview
As a Software Engineer specializing in DevOps, you will collaborate closely with multiple cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Security, and Marketing. Your key responsibilities encompass managing infrastructure, overseeing CI/CD pipelines, maintaining Kubernetes clusters, ensuring security and compliance, monitoring system health, managing incidents, orchestrating disaster recovery plans, automating tools, and fostering inter-team communication.
Required Experience and Skills
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in DevOps with proficiency in containerization and Kubernetes.
- Substantial experience working on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Advanced skills in Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Hands-on exposure to ArgoCD, service mesh architectures, Helm, network policies, and Kubernetes cluster security measures.
- Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines, GitHub, and JIRA is advantageous.
- Expertise in cloud networking.
- Competency in Terraform, Pulumi, and Ansible for infrastructure as code and automation.
- Experience working with various data storage technologies including PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Proficient in Docker deployments on container platforms.
- Ability to script using Shell, Python, or Go on Linux environments.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented attitude.
- Preferably previous experience in a product startup setting.
- Certifications in Cloud technologies or Kubernetes are a plus.
