Job description
Role Overview
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of social media channels. You will set long-term objectives, devise strategies, and outline the steps necessary to attain them. The role involves fostering active and engaged online communities around defined topics by managing editorial calendars and monitoring discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing activities across multiple social media platforms.
- Set long-term goals and define strategies to achieve them.
- Oversee engaged communities and maintain editorial schedules with adequate lead time.
- Engage in online dialogues to enhance brand visibility, customer satisfaction, and support marketing and e-commerce efforts.
- Establish a positive online presence for one or multiple hotels using engaging messaging systems tailored to properties and the brand.
- Measure and report on the overall impact of online presence on hotel business performance.
- Report workplace accidents, injuries, and hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain personal appearance and uniform in a clean and professional manner, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
- Welcome and greet all customers in line with company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation toward guests.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop positive working relationships with colleagues, listen attentively, and respond appropriately to their concerns.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Read and accurately verify information presented in various formats.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 10 pounds independently; be able to stand or be on feet for prolonged periods.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a related field.
- No supervisory experience is necessary.
- No licenses or certifications required.
