Slinger Signaller

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Slinger Signallers to join a significant infrastructure project based in Solihull. This position involves the safe management of crane operations, including directing crane handlers, securing and attaching loads, and executing lifting duties precisely as detailed in lift plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe guidance and communication with crane operators using standard hand signals and radio equipment.
• Attach, secure, and manage loads in line with lift plan requirements.
• Collaborate efficiently within a team environment on a large civil engineering project to maintain operational smoothness and safety.

Requirements and Candidate Profile

• Must possess a valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card or an NPORS certification bearing the CSCS logo.
• Previous involvement in substantial infrastructure or civil engineering projects is required.
• Completion of a Safety Critical Medical examination is essential.
• Candidates need to agree to site protocols including drug and alcohol screening and adherence to all site health and safety standards.
