About the Role
Join the infrastructure team of a premier global quantitative trading firm as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or Platform Engineer. You will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and sustaining highly scalable and reliable platforms that power critical trading applications operating nonstop worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable platform infrastructures.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to expedite software delivery effectively.
- Improve platform observability through comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Create automation and self-service tools that enable engineering teams.
- Provide support for containerized workloads using orchestration tools across large-scale environments.
- Drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and overall performance across distributed systems and middleware.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven background as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Linux systems administration and automation.
- Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical knowledge using containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices and infrastructure automation.
- Experienced programming and scripting skills including Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
- A passion for establishing and maintaining reliable, highly available infrastructure platforms.
