Site Engineer

Overview

This role involves overseeing onsite construction operations to guarantee that projects align with approved plans and quality benchmarks. The Site Engineer acts as a liaison among various stakeholders including contractors, workers, and suppliers to maintain smooth progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction tasks directly at the project location.
• Verify that all activities adhere strictly to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with multiple parties such as contractors, site workers, consultants, and suppliers to facilitate project workflow.
• Monitor and assess the progress and quality of the ongoing work to ensure standards are met.
• Inspect materials delivered as well as workmanship quality on site.
• Compile daily site reports covering work updates and site conditions.
• Maintain and enforce safety protocols throughout the site.
• Identify potential site-related problems and communicate these promptly to the project management team.
• Support in tasks like measurement, billing processes, and quantity verification to ensure accurate documentation.
• Oversee that the construction timeline stays aligned with the planned schedule.
