Job description

Role Overview

As a Site Agent, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of high-quality engineering and construction projects. Partnering closely with Senior Management, you are responsible for ensuring that all projects are finished on schedule, stay within budget, and meet the highest quality standards, while consistently aiming to innovate and enhance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise both direct labour and subcontractors ensuring adherence to timeframes, quality benchmarks, and budget requirements.
  • Provide essential technical guidance to resolve site challenges and address queries effectively.
  • Manage setting out procedures and dimensional control to guarantee precision in construction.
  • Promote and uphold a proactive health and safety culture across the site.
  • Co-ordinate temporary works, along with inspections and testing protocols.
  • Engage with various stakeholders and represent the company at important meetings.
  • Monitor the commercial performance of projects and ensure accurate documentation is submitted for payment processing.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in supervising engineering teams and managing subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of construction standards and specifications.
  • Possess a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification, along with CSCS/CSR card and First Aid at Work certification.
  • Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel as required.
