About the Role

As a Shift Leader in one of our restaurants, you'll oversee daily shifts and operational areas to guarantee high-quality products and excellent customer service, contributing directly to restaurant profitability. Your role will also involve implementing all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and maintaining ethical conduct in business practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to established guidelines and techniques for each station, including dough management, portion control, and product accuracy.
- Perform station duties to prepare quality products while following all preparation procedures and maintaining required product holding times.
- Support the company’s product quality goals while meeting customer expectations, minimizing complaints, and responding appropriately to customer needs.
- Follow all company handbook policies regarding employee appearance, attendance, safety, and security.
- Demonstrate core values, maintain a positive attitude, collaborate well with colleagues, and adapt effectively to change.
- Ensure sufficient shift coverage, provide immediate feedback and corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain standards for product quality, customer service, operational performance metrics such as food and labor costs, cleanliness, and shift management policies.
- Contribute to achieving profit targets within corporate guidelines by accurately using the FOCUS system.
- Carry out cash management tasks and assist in inventory management to prevent losses.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Serv-Safe or local/state food service certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a restaurant shift leader preferred.
- Demonstrated stable and successful employment history.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Capability to work long shifts generally exceeding 32 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies.
- Ability to perform the duties of all restaurant positions successfully.
