Shift Lead - B&Q Naas

Overview

This role is a permanent position offering full-time, part-time, or job share contracts at B&Q located in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland. The standard workweek is 36.75 hours. The full-time equivalent annual salary is €35,353.50, plus pension contributions and 7 weeks of holiday, including bank holidays. A Sunday premium pay of 25% applies. Shift timings vary between 6am and 10pm, and this is a keyholder position requiring responsibility for security.

Role Description

As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues. You will oversee daily store operations, ensure appropriate colleague deployment to prioritize customer satisfaction, and act as the primary contact for customers and team members during your shift. Your responsibilities include monitoring safety compliance and supporting a positive experience in the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations ensuring smooth workflow and service delivery.
• Coordinate and allocate colleague resources effectively to maximize customer focus.
• Serve as the first point of contact for both customers and colleagues and address any issues promptly.
• Ensure the store remains a safe environment at all times and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
