Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Service Desk Analyst to be the primary onsite IT contact at our Wellington Gracefield site. This is a hands-on role combining customer-focused remote support with direct face-to-face technical troubleshooting. Your responsibilities will include providing Level 1–2 support, resolving hardware and connectivity challenges, and managing Microsoft 365 users and devices, including Intune administration. While you will work independently onsite, you will have support from the wider ANZ IT team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 IT support for end users in New Zealand and Australia.
  • Serve as the dedicated onsite IT representative located in Wellington.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts and device administration through Intune.
  • Escalate complex issues and coordinate with external vendors and ANZ IT colleagues.

Candidate Requirements

  • Between 1 to 2 years experience in a Service Desk, Helpdesk, or End User Support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with laptops, desktops, printers, and mobiles.
  • Hands-on experience administrating Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Familiarity with operational technologies such as barcode scanners, RF devices, and label printers is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously as the sole onsite IT personnel.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.

Additional beneficial experience includes working with Microsoft Intune, basic infrastructure knowledge, and supporting multiple locations.

Work Conditions & Benefits

  • Stable working hours with a flexible schedule including one day working from home.
  • Comprehensive insurance coverage including Life, Total Permanent Disability, and Health Insurance.
  • Employee discounts on DuluxGroup products and partner offerings.
  • KiwiSaver contributions matched up to 4% of your salary.
  • Extended parental leave benefits: 20 weeks for primary carers and 2 weeks for partners.
  • Opportunities for professional development with market-leading learning and career pathways.
  • Access to Wellbeing Hub and Employee Assistance Program support.
  • Recognition programs celebrating employee contributions.
