In Australia, we provide comprehensive services at major airports, including Passenger and Customer Services, Ramp activities, and Cargo handling.

Role Overview

The Ground Services team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Workforce Analyst reporting directly to the National Workforce Planning Manager. This full-time position has a nationwide focus, playing a critical part in strategic workforce planning and analytics across all dnata Australia Ground Handling operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the national workforce supply and demand model to accurately forecast operational staffing availability.
  • Oversee leave management and training schedules to ensure daily resource availability.
  • Optimize allocation of resources within Ground Handling to ensure safe, dependable operations while controlling labor costs efficiently.
  • Create seasonal workforce baseline plans based on flight schedules and input from operational stakeholders.
  • Offer data-driven insights and modeling to assist financial, commercial, and operational decision-making processes.
  • Conduct regular workforce metrics analysis and reporting to monitor resource availability and efficiency across all locations and workgroups.
  • Mentor and coach team members to elevate their critical thinking and data literacy within the planning division.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data, finance, economics, aviation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven success translating complex datasets into actionable insights suitable for senior leadership communication.
  • Experience spearheading continuous improvement or operational excellence projects to enhance performance.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining intricate operational and planning concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to comply with aviation security and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior involvement in workforce planning or modeling within aviation, transportation, or similar operational sectors.
  • Demonstrated success improving operational outcomes in environments sensitive to industrial relations.
  • Experience with operational planning, scheduling, and rostering software.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools.

Additional Information

All successful candidates must undergo a police clearance before starting employment.
